This apartment kitchen in Bondi Beach was transformed from a dated, enclosed workspace into a modern, functional kitchen designed to maximise storage, improve workflow, and create a clean contemporary aesthetic.

The project began with the complete demolition and removal of the existing kitchen. Once the area was stripped back, the walls were prepared and all cabinetry set out in accordance with the new kitchen design. Every cabinet was carefully installed, levelled and aligned.

One of the standout features of this renovation was the installation of the fibre cement benchtops. Rather than relying on factory-cut pieces, I custom measured, cut, machined and installed each benchtop on site. This included precision cutting using a track saw with dust extraction, machining the undermount sink opening, tap hole and cooktop cut-outs, followed by careful sanding and finishing to achieve clean, accurate edges before installation.

The completed kitchen features matte black cabinetry paired with light fibre cement benchtops, an undermount black sink, matte black tapware, integrated appliances and floating open shelving. The combination of contrasting finishes creates a modern, minimalist design while making the most of the available space.

Recently Completed Blackbutt Hardwood Staircase restoration in Randwick, repairing years of wear and tear and extending the life of the staircase with Quality Workmanship and Materials. 

For this Project we:

• Removed and replaced damaged, rotten, and cupped boards using matching Blackbutt Hardwood timber.

 • Checked the sub-frame for any hidden structural issues

• Applied two coats of Cutek Extreme CD50 — a premium Australian-made decking oil for long-lasting protection and finish

The result is a refreshed staircase that's built to last and looks great for years to come.
